Shelby Jo Sobba, Kansas Outreach Coordinator

Shelby Jo Sobba is majoring in Elementary Education at Emporia State University located in Kansas. She has always had a passion to work with children. Her interest in children and love for agriculture led her to Farm Safety 4 Just Kids to help promote farm safety and health to youth across the state.

Shelby was born and raised on a small farm just outside of Richmond, Kansas. Her family raises cattle, swine, and poultry. Throughout her youth, she was involved in the 4-H and continues to help many children in the county. During high school, Shelby was an active member in FFA serving as the chapter President. When Shelby’s not busy with school, she is generally found at home working on the farm or spending time with her friends.
